Lund pro V part needed

I have a 1997 lund pro v that has the electronics compartment in the back I am looking for the screws that go though the plexi glass and hinge on the electronice compartment. The nut end is flat and goes into the plexiglass just a little ways. The only way the lund dealer can get them is to order the hinge also. At 16$ each. I just need the screw and nut. Cant find at the local hardware store. What is this screw/ nut called and where can i gat them??? Please help, dont want to spend 64$

I believe what you are describing is called a Barrel Nut. Go to Mcmaster.<om and search for Barrel Nut and you will find an large assortment of them.
