Manny Slap!!!

Oh so close. Talk about funny, Ufta! Last night DPS and I got into a small run of some pretty decent channels using cut shad. Very fun night. But when I went to take this picture some very strange happened. Dave almost got a Manny slap.

That fish had it in for me.. no doubt. After it tried to slap me a few times, it tried to fight its way out of my hands to stick a spine in my leg... that didnt happen either!

Channels have to be one of the most difficult fish to keep hold of once hey reach a certain size... strong, fast, and flexable.
