Gander Mountain Reels?

I was just watching a TV show and they were using the Gander Mountain series round baitcasting reels. They looked like nice reels, does anyone have any info on these because I still need to get a couple of baitcasters to go on my St. Croixs!

They are Pfluger Trions. When I worked there, we got one in that had trion and guide series stamped in the same place. The gold ones are a 6:3-1 and the silver ones are a 5.2-1.

I like trions. For the money they hold up pretty well. My buddies abuse mine and they take it well.

10,000 casts, what kind did you get? I work there as well, and I know our stuff is made by pflueger, but the baitcasters at the lakeville store definitely aren't Trions. Did you mean a low-profile one? Didn't know we sold those. And yeah, the warranty is basically bringing it back, lol

Over last school year I worked at the Gander in Duluth. The 56 and 66 are made by shakespeare, which now make pflueger reels. I am not sure which model they are based off of though. And yes the warranty is basically bring it back, As long as the reel doens't look like its been dragging behind a vehicle down the highway. grin.gif
