rear platform for 1992 crestliner sportfish

I bought a 1992 1700 sportfish last year. I love the boat except for the fact that it has a rear bench that does not double as a rear casting platform when folded down. I usually fish out of the bow but have fished out of the back as well. Has anyone converted a similar sportfish and have any suggestions. I have converted a couple of bench seat boats to casting platform/flat floor boats in the last couple of years so do have somewhat of a clue but always looking for input to do things better.
