thrasher
Drew the last turkey week. Wasn't sure how they would be responding that late. I set up the first morning just as it was starting to get light. Was using a blind for the first time. In 25 mins. a nice tom came out of his roost and landed 25 yards away. Boom, done. 9" beard. Lucky.
Hotspotter
Welcome to FishingMinnesota, and the turkey forum, glad to have you. First off, I must say, pics please! Luck comes in many forms, but it tends to happen the most when you're prepared and already doing the right things. I love it when they coast into the setup! Sounds like you had a great hunt, and congratulations! Joel
Borch
There's always some luck involved. But hard work usually tips luck in your favor.Congrats!

huntmup
That's right, you can't get lucky if your not out there. I have killed three longbeards by waking up from a nap at the right time. "Two of the four birds that I got this year" NOW, is that luck, being at the right place at the right time, or just being out there. I like to say if you don't go you won't know.
