Huge green sunfish

Wow, just look at the mouth on that thing! I must think he's a bass. I have also noticed that the green sunfish and hybrids will be constantly pecking at my senkos and soft plastic jerkbaits when bass fishing. Sometime I try to set the hook on one and end up ripping the hook straight through the little guys head

Just like you said, the mouths are huge. I've caught a fair share of greenies and hybrids on bass type lures.

I had one of those guys explode on my jitterbug last sunday.. I thought for sure it was a huge bass the way it hit.
