Busted Rod Guide

I was eagerly putting together all my rod and reel combos and cleaning up the reels getting them all oiled up and putting them on my coveted rods. I went to grab my 7'2" St. Croix Premier rod and the inside lining of the eye was missing. Is there any place that I can buy these or will I have to contact St. Croix and get one?

Check with Thorne Brothers, they may have what you need.

I had the same thing and I brought it in to Thorne Bros... they are able to replace it for you for cheap... They told me it would take a week but in fact, they called two days after and said it was ready... excellent service... I dont think you will be disappointed...

I have had the same thing happen and taken it to Gander Mtn and they fixed it while I waited. It doesn't take long, they do not need to replace the whole eye, just the insert. It basically pops right into place. Afterall, that is how they get them in there from the factory, they don't form the eye around the insert.
