zercom troubles?

i bought a zercom coler point flasher. it works most of the time, but what causes all the weird signals? you can even wave your hand at it and the flashes follow your hand! what's up???

I have the same problem only not to bad, I have the problem when you look at the screen at a certian angle you lose bottom and lure and see some weird marks. Also when I get deeper than 30ft I have to turn the gain to max to see my lure but see fish good whats up with that maybe a new battery

That is odd what is happening, a new battery might be just what you need. The only problem I have had is with vexilar near by. The other thing is you possibly could have hit your transducer hard on something and thrown that off.
