Hit my favorite little bass lake to get my bass fix. Was out from 9am-1:30pm. Bass were hitting surprisingly hard for the weather conditions. My favorite black/blue jig&trailer was the ticket. Only one snake, 12-15 largies, and o biteoffs! Water temp was 59-61. 2 others on spinnerbait. All but one very tight to shoreline cover. Saw my extended family, Bald Eagles, also came to greet me and do a little fishing themselves. Weather was'nt great, but being on the water for the first time(w/my boat) was very, very godd for the mind and soul(sole)?
