Questions on propane tanks?

I have an out of date 20# tank and would like to the most cost efective way to update it. I see a lot of the new tanks have the quick coupler thread on them and would like to know if I need an adapter for my mr heater to fit or can you get a new valve with the old style thread

There shouldnt be a problem, the hose or mr heater are male threads and the quick thread attachment (grill) would be a female.

Ther won't be any problem, all thge new valves have the same threaded hookup on the inside and the quick attachment threads on the out side they will fit all the new and old style.
