Whats this worth?

I have a John Deere Hydro STX 38" that isn't necessary to use at my new house because my yard is a little smaller, and I need the exercise of a push mower.

The mower is in great shape and has a twin-bag bagging system off the back. Could anyone tell me what a fair trade-in value would be for this mower? Or if I was to sell it outright?

Its hard to define without knowing things such as what year it is and if the accessories are the same age. Best bet is to look them up online and see what others are paying. There isn't a huge market for reselling lawn mowers so you have to feel out a range in price that your mower fits into.

Call up a local John Deere dealer and ask them.

They may even have someone looking for a used one.

I found 4 or 5 of the same mower on hsolist going for anywhere between $250 and $700.
