Southeast Minnesota stream/fishing reports?

Has anyone been out? There hasn't been many posts. Wife's been keeping me too dang busy, but.........I hope to get out this weekend. Weather pending.

have you checked the se mn forum? they are haveing their 7th annual trout day on saturday. sounds like fun

Everyone is too busy fishing to post. Definitely some good fishing going on. Water is a bit low and very clear. I think some rain will help out. Come on down to Forestville on Saturday. Trout Day is a great event.

I was out on Tuesday afternoon, but not a lot to report. I think we were just a little too late for the gray caddis hatch. Plenty flying around, but none on the water and no risers. I fished with a caddis for awhile with almost nothing to show for it. Caught a few nymphing but I really had to work for them. My friend did pretty well on Wed on another stream, but again no hatch. All were caught on nymphs.

Wish I could make it to trout day, but German festival is that day at my sons high school. Something seems to come up every year. Maybe next year.
