Spinning Reel?

Do any of you guys use spinning reels for Flatheads? Im going to be buyng a rod/reel and I am not much of a baitcast guy.......any suggestions?

Okuma Epixor EB50 will treat you right! It's an awesome spinning reel and it's got a baitfeeder system--just like a clicker on a baitcaster only you can adjust the tension.

These are all good choices. My choice is the Okuma although the Tica is very nice as well. Not much of a fan of the Shimano, the reel needs to be redesigned as it still looks like its from the 80s.

I have a Cabels Salt Striker that has been pretty bullet proof for me. Good gears, good drag, and I just hose it off when its muddy and it keeps going. I just picked up a Mitchell 7500 FullRunner that I'm going to try this year. It has a bait runner drag on it and looks to be tough. I'm filling it with 80# Spectra line, so I'll see how it works this season.

I want to get one of those new Tica Abyss TF series reels. They look sweet. Heavy duty.
