perch lake??

could someone tell me where a decent perch lake is around central mn.. i want to get the kids out to have some fun and also my boat isn't fixed yet so i would need a decent shore fishing access...i haven't targeted perch for years since i lived down in the southern part of the state...i know where plenty of sunnies and crappies are but for some reason the kids are set on wanting to catch some perch...and also we do practice cpr...any help in the right direction would be greatly appreciated..

If you're willing to travel, Mille Lacs is a good option. Otherwise, there are a number of gems in the southern part of the state that hold decent numbers of quality perch. With some research, these lakes can be fished without anyone bothering you.
