Albino Robin

Wish I would have had my camera, but I went for a run last night and saw a albino robin sitting in the road ditch. Wasn't sure if that's what it was at first, but it then began to chirp like a robin and had all the physical characteristics besides color of course. This is the first albino robin I've ever seen. Anyone else ever see these and are they quite common or not?

In the mid 80's there were was at least 6 of them in Le Sueur. Very odd indeed. To see one is cool, but as many as we had that year, it was quite the spectical. They returned the following year, and then we never saw them again. There were a couple albino squirrells also.

I see albino squirells quite often. The robin was a first for me though.
