Every year these finches come back and try and build a nest over the light on our front porch....for about 5 years now...obviously they can't be the same birds but apparently the species of finch finds my home to be the perfect nest site ....here's a few images of the finch's in the nest building process (notice the twigs in the males beak) ....

Nice behavior shots jonny! I have a pair of these in my neighborhood that have been checking out the feeders.
