Dotch
Checked the wood duck house last nite while working on the fence and found 5 new eggs in it. Anyone else have nesting news?
bmc
My daughter's and I put a new one out the other day on a 3-4 acre pond at my dad's place. We also checked the other box that has been up for a couple years. Nothing yet, but the pond just opened up again and there are a pair of honkers and a pair of mallards checking things out. Two years ago a coon got into the box and cleaned out the goldeneye eggs and nothing used it last year. I'm hoping one of them gets used this spring. I've got enough stove pipe around both trees now that they look like a fireman's pole.Brian

koonie
My daughter and I put one out Friday afternoon. She's really pumped. I hope it gets used just so I can show her the eggs and that we hunters have a positive impact on wildlife.
