Dan DAN the fisherman
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, Fish4Brains and I hit Jackson on Sunday. Water was very stained and there were tumble weeds all over the SE side of the lake and inlet. The good thing is, the water temp was perfect. We started marking fish, but tried everything, to no avail. So we went over to a bay on the NE side of the lake and played with some carp for a while. We ended up catch 15-20 carp, between 26" and 29". It was a blast , but we got bored and wanted to try for some game fish. We headed west and finally found them. I was first, with a 21" wiper, then Greg, then me, then Greg. What a blast. Ended up taking home 16 wipers, 16" to 25". They were caught on white power tubes and green twister tails. We tipped them sometimes with a shiner or crawler. Gregs boat was a real pleasure to fish from. All fish were caught in 2-6' of water.
