Fishing Trip

Lookin at maybe taking a trip to Southwestern Ontario this summer. Any suggestions on good resorts?? We like to fish walleyes, but a variety of fish would be a plus. We've never been up there so we're looking for a good experience - maybe somewhere we could go every year. I'd like to take my own boat. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking Southeastern? To my knowledge there is no Southwestern? Maybe you mean Northwestern, north of I. Falls, MN. If you are around the MPLS. area this week or weekend, go to the Northwest Sportshow at the convention center. The show dates are Mar. 27 - Apr.1 (tue.-sun.) You should be able to find what you are looking for there, If you have any questions you can stop by our booth at #1340 and I can point you in the right direction.

Hey outfitter, what days will you be there? I may stop in to say hello. I assume the ice took a big hit last week end, although that only means a quicker ice-out, aka "shore fishing!"

Sorry Cedarnarrowguy,

I left for the cities monday and didn't have a chance to see your post. Did you make it to the show?

The ice was in great shape the weekend of Mar. 24/25, lots of ice, but the snow was all gone.

I don't know the conditions right now, being that I was gone a week. We have about 1-2 inches of fresh snow in I. Falls and I guess it is suppose to be cold this next weekend. I will give you an ice report if I make one more trip.

Outfitter..No problem, I got too busy last weekend. Some others stayed at the cabin...not sure how they did. I might be up for a day over Easter Weekend. If not I'll be there ice-out.
