one comes across some unusual items as one lurks the countryside with camera in hand.....wonder who what or why someone put these bones in a container 60-70+ years ago?....hmmm...not even sure what kind of bones they are...

or how many years ago this tire has been laying there with these birch growing through the middle,trees are about 30 feet high

Jonny, that birch and tire is really cool. I'd bet beef bones on the first one.

Thanks for sharing them. I've spent mid day processing and posting a bit of this morning's work, and now it's time to get back out there as the sun gets lower and mellower and see if the end of the day yields anything.
