gel batteries

valv my son has a lund boat and bought orbitaldeep cycle batteries. seem to work alright but....when he goes to charge them with his on board charger lund special addition 3 bank charger pro it keeps going from red to green and he is worried about maybe damaging the charger. any help would be appreciated castindad

Is this a common issue with this type of battries on the 1st charge.Or is this a way of telling me that is fully charge.Thanks jimBo

On my Pro Sport charger there is a jumper wire you have to cut if you are going to use it on the gel batteries. Better check the battery charger manual. My guess is that the charger is just telling you something is wrong and it is not damaged (hopefully).
