tearin' lips
Well here it is a little late, but I figured I would post it anyhow. We started off the day on Crow in about 60-70 feet of water and had trout from the get go. It wasn't really good at first, a few lookers and a 6#that we iced, but that was about it. When that sun came out about 10:30ish they lit up like crazy. We hooked into an 10# that we iced, two three pounders that went back, then I hooked into a really, really big one that pulled a houdini on me and got off after a minute of fighting. Then we had a few more misses, I had another hook up on a big one that got off, and my sister wrapped it up by iceing another 5#. All in all probably the best two hours of trout fishing that I have had.We then went to Nestor and fished for some crappies. I wanted to try some new spots that looked good and were remote, but they didn't produced. We ended up fishing over near the end of Gordies road and were only picking up a few now and again. After about 20 more holes we finally found them and it wasn't until 3:45 until we really started catching crappies. We ended up with 24 between three of us in two hours, but they were all 12", except for 4. All in all not a bad day, I had the most productive trout days ever, but also one of the slowest crappie days this season. I guess that sometimes will happen when you are trying new areas.Take Care Guys and Good Luck Fishing!!

Capt.Blaine
ATVs are the plan as of right now. But we are bringing one sled just incase. From what Robin says ATVs are the way to go as of today. What days are you going to be there? We will have to have a beverage or hook up on the water.
