Southern Minnesota SUMO perch. Go do some exploring.

The two bottom perch are over 13" and extremely well fed. These were caught in a southern Minnesota lake in less than 5ft of water. The lake itself is less than 500 acres and is less than 10ft deep. We caught over two dozen jumbos on Saturday and the other guys on the lake had done even better earlier in the week. Just goes to show you don't need to head north for jumbos. And no I won't give out the lake location. It already has enough pressure but there are others just like in the southern part of this state.

Nice perch Mark. I have also been perchin' the past 3 days and have been blessed with darn good fishing in southern MN.
