Ice Conditions with warm weather?

Just wondering the ice conditions on the lakes you guys are fishing. What was the thickness a week ago and what is it now?
Wondering if it will be safe to go out this weekend.

I was on cedar lake this am and the ice was good, running 8 to 12". ATVs were running on it with no problem. Weather will be turning colder so go fish.

Talked to Deana at Zippel bay on LOW tonite, they're still driving out from there. Adrians access is still open also.

My experience on East Central Lakes is the Ice is anywhere from 10.5 to 12.0 inches thick. The warm weather has only melted the top snow and a little ice. But the ice is still plenty thick. I spoke with a DNR guy doing creel census and he has been on tons of lakes around here. He said that most of the lakes he has been on are all 11 to 12 inches thick. But always be careful and check as you go out. Also ask some locals where you go. Good luck.
