Best way to buy Twins tickets?

Online works well. The cheapest is to go to the Twins Pro Shop and buy them there (fees are less). What has worked fairly well for my familly is to pick up the 6 for 5 packages and use those for the popular games early and late in the season. Then during the year we usually pick up Home Run Porch 1/2 price Tuesday tickets

When I lived in Kansas City, you could get Royals tickets at Hy-Vees, I wish the Twins would do something like that, it was very handy. There was a $1 convenience fee, well worth it.

We used hsolist last year and got great seats at a great price.

Also, if you enjoy haggling, I get kind of a charge from getting tickets from those guys right outside the dome. If you are willing to wait until 1 minute before game time and the game isn't sold out you can get some deals.

I ended up getting some seats for game one in the Family Section. Wife and daughter volunteered to go to the mall for game two so I could get much better seat for myself. Now that'll cost me, but it's all good. smile.gif

The haggling thing works very well for Reds games, but they don't sell out often either.

PS- in case a few of you don't like to pay for parking around the dome- go to a bar across the street called Huberts before the game, they have free parking- but just don't park and walk, go in and have a beer or two, it's a great bar!

zamboni...Three of us are going to drive down to K.C. to see a Twins game at Kauffman stadium in Aug. or Sept. and I was wondering if you could recommend a hotel to stay in close to the park?

also...I drove a Zamboni for 22 years at Columbia Arena in Fridley. Are you a Zamboni driver?

Thanks, Ron.

There is no free parking at Huberts.

I agree great bar... Some GREAT memoribilia in there also. May even be able to buy a ticket or 2 around there

Funny little story about Sid Hartman and Huberts:

Years ago, ( the 80's) On more than 1 occasion Sid would walk in thru the kitchen---point at the cook---tell him he wanted a burger, and proceed to sit down at a occupied table to wait for his food!
