good techniques for walleyes

im going to fish mille lacs for the first time this weekend just looking for some tips and tricks some of u guys use such as color presentation or bait types

I havent fished Mille Lacs this year yet but in the past swedish pimples have been my best lure. Colors like perch, silver and chartruse have been best. I would just use the heads of fatheads so that you allow yourself chances at both perch and walleyes. Im sure there are guys that have been fishing recently with this warm weather that can offer more help than me.. Good luck!

Lindys Frostys with a minnow head. Red and white glow lures seem to work well.

Jiggin' spoons tipped with minnow heads is always a solid choice as is dead sticking with a plain hook and minnow. A couple of things I would encourage you to try is a fluorocarbon leader and keep your presentations suspended well above the fish you're marking.
