I have a pop up pick up camper and I need to replace the inverter/converter, but I am not sure which one to that I need. Any help would be appreciated. It is a 1988 Skamper and is in great shape other than the electrically thingy

just get the make and model number and call a rv place,

if that model isnt available you will need

to measure for fit. should say what amp it is too.

That would be a converter. Converts 110 to 12volts for your lights in the camper.

I replaced one on a new Starcraft tentcamper after about a couple years. The tech told me that they are not the most reliable electrical component.

Skampers are built in Pine River, just north of Brainerd.

just try to get the same make and model,

installation will be easy. i see a lot

of them fail when the battery gets hooked

up backwards.
