tafadzwa
I'm planning to paint the exterior of my house starting this spring. I have an old house with cement board siding. Is it possible to just power wash and spray right over the existing paint with this type of siding? Is anyone aware of a HSOforum/resource for a do-it-yourselfer with regards to house painting? Many thanks.
BendnSend
Paint away, we do it all the time. Shouldnt have any problems with the pressure washing, great way to remove dirt and grime with very little effort. The cement board is a very easy siding to work with when ur painting cuz unlike wood it doesnt soak up near as much giving you light spots. Good luck with ur project! anyfishwilldo
Get it good and clean, then go to Sherwin Williams and ask them about their Duration line of paint. They give a lifetime warranty over cement board siding.
