I have no idea but you may get a more experienced opinion in the hunting dogs section. I'm very interested to head the responses as I plan on taking the same route with my English SPringer Spaniel.

Go with Tri-tronics they have been around the longest and have never failed me. Make sure you buy one with the vibrate feature because once the dog knows a shock is coming it will only take a vibration to correct most problems.
