Ufatz
I picked up this old Johnson 9,9 last fall. Will run okay once I get it started. Recoild starter sorta sloppy....leaves some cord hanging out after start. You know the drill... And it looks like the former owner use it to do some aquatic rock grinding. Prop has lots of filing and trimming etc. Is it hard to replace the prop...I mean basically they are easy, but is this one of those with the rubber inserts etc.? And other advice for this old jewel -the motor, not me- please share. Thanks.
Valv
All propellers have a rubber boot, is made (supposedly) to spin hub when you hit an object.ANyway it's very easy to change on your motor, a nut and a cotter pin it's all it takes. Ufatz
Thanks Valve. I assumed that but thought I'd check BEFORE I started!
