camera screen magnifier??

this has probably been done already, but i was wondering if anybody has one of these screen magnifiers i've seen in the store. The one on display is on an aqua-view but i'm wondering if they could be used on my uvs screen. Love my camera but the old eyes aren;t what they used to be and that screen is really small. Thsi magnifying thing reminds me of the screen we used to put in front of the black and white tv's in the early sixties to pretend we had color. lol
