Nebraska Fishing

I'll be transferring down to Kearny Nebraska from early March to May, and I can't believe I would ever miss out on that much fishing. Are there any opportunities to fish around Kearny? I've never been there before, so any help would be great. Thanks!

Kearney is a great spot. Midway to Harlan Res, Johnson Lake, Elwood Res, Close enough to Sherman Res, plus a whole host of I-80 lakes for bass, panfish, etc. Plus you are far enough west that Big Mac isn't that far. Lots of lakes out that way. Plus, Cabelas is in town, life is going to be good for you. I'm jealous
