Guest
I agree, in shallow water and water with a high degree of insect clutter it is very helpful.I also use it on open water and find it extremely handy on rivers.Well worth the $18. ------------------"Ed on the Red"Backwater Guiding Service[email protected]fishingminnesota.com/ed-on-the-red/
Guest
Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna open all of my icefishing presents over the next two days. Based on what I recieve/don't recieve, I'm going on a little shopping spree. I'll be sure to add that to my list.Merry Christmas!!Good Luck,Rusty
Guest
I currently have a FL-8, and was considering a FL-18, but I want to wait until all the gliches are worked out. Is it worth it to buy the S-cable for the FL-8's? Do they make a big difference? Thanks for your input. Good Luck!!!Rusty
Guest
The S-cable makes a huge difference, especially in water depth of 8 feet or less.I always use the cable when fishing on shallow, weedy flats for bluegills. Try it with and without in shallow water, you'll see what I mean.Coupled with a 19 degree transducer, the s-cable is the ticket for shallow water.
