I was wondering if anyone has fished the Woman lake chain. And if the walleye fishing is any good. I am from Iowa, and my Dad, brother, and I are planning a trip and i just wanted to know a little bit more about it. THANKS

The Minnesota Walleye Trail (MWT) fished this lake in August. There were a good number of fish caught in the 4 plus pound range plus a lot of eater size fish. It was a spinner and crawler bite in August.

seth the walleye fishing on woman can be very good in late may and june. it's a very clear lake and can be tough on brite sunny days.but fish can still be caught. Some of the best methods are lindy rigging with leaches or redtails.there is also a very good night time trolling lake. You will have fun on Woman Lake lot's of structure to explore.
