Northern Hawk Owl (images)

It was pretty cold this afternoon. Froze my @$$ off making these images. The Hawk Owl has been hanging around for the past couple of weeks. I would have missed it, but another friendly birder was kind enough to point it out. Here are a few of the images I was able to capture. Hope you enjoy.

Here are a couple of verticals for you. Unfortunately, I initially shot with my 1.4x on my 100-400. I have been fairly unhappy with the shot quality from this combo. The first one is with the 100-400 only and the second was one taken with the 1.4x attached.
