The right front tire came off the rim and caused a few headaches.I would like to address this problem. So I'm looking for advice.What options would you choose?A: Tubes B: More or less pressure.C: "Slime" the existing tires D: Quit worrying about stuff that was just a fluke. 0 Macgyver55 Posted February 1, 2007 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Definitely "D" and you may want to add some "B" to that. "C" is ok if you want some peace of mind. I personally don't use it because I rarely have tire problems, and I do all my own tire mounting and repair and its just plain messy. I'd resort to "D" (tubes) only I had poor quality tires or stubborn ones that just wont hold air. If its new there is no reason they should need tubes or slime yet with new tires and rims. Air them all up (around 5-6 lbs) and check them, keep an eye especially on the one that went flat for a week or two. Unless you have a defective new tire or it was punctured right away it was probably just a fluke. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
