Marcum w/ Minnkota universal sonar?

Thinking ahead to spring already... I've looked at the different adaptor cables Minnkota sells and they don't have one for Marcum. They mention other brands may work with the available cables. Does anyone know if there is a cable that will work to hook up the Marcum to the universal sonar? Thanks.

I bought my boat last spring with the universal sonar on the trolling motor only to find out it wasn't compatible with Marcum. I'd really like to use my flasher up front so I'm hoping they come up with a fix. I haven't heard of anything yet though.
