poor light from Humpfrey gas lights

Big Walleye 58

Question

Anyone have any idea what may cause poor light from LP gas lights in cabin ? Lights run off of a 100# tank which is full .Can adjust regulator and it has no effect on quality of light .All lights work about the same so I don't think that it is plugged orifices. Over time is it possible that is some substance in the LP that could build up in the copper lines ? Thank you for any help or ideas .

Wish I knew the answer. Have the same problem at our deer shack. Try cleaning the gas oriface with a small piece of wire or a welding tip cleaner. This has worked on some of ours. Spider webs in the main throat are bad too.

take the globe off, take, the mantle off, the white nozzle will unscrew. Unscrew it and dump out any carbon and clean it up. There is a small screen in the nozzle too you can clean that up. Also you can undo the three screws on the sides that hold the whole light assmebly pull it off and there is the orfice there clean it up reassemble everything put a clean mantle on and you should be good to go. Good luck with it.
