capmorgan
Is this depth finder able to have those chips for maps of lakes? Which chips should I get if it can have them?

0 capmorgan
Is there a different depth finder that has color that can use the chips? Also which chip can get like most/all the fishing lakes in minnesota?
0 DeBo101
For information about chips do a search on the lakemaster and the navionics chips. Depends on what you are looking for as to which one is a better fit.You will have to check the websites for which units offer what you are looking for. GPS only? GPS and Sonar? I would suggest that if you choose a combo unit you pick one with a large screen. Splitting the screen with depthfinder duties and GPS duties may leave you a bit dissapointed with a 5" screen.I run an M68 on the bow and an X-75 on the console. I will be adding a GlobalMap 52 or 5300 on the console with a lakemaster chip this spring and I can't wait. After fishing in a boat with the GPS and Sonar separate I decided that is the way to go. 0 Ralph Wiggum
If you want it in one unit, check out the LMS-334c Ice Machine. It's like the M68c on steroids.
