Owl Pictures

Does anyone have any owl pictures to share? I realize they are hard to photograph as I have a hard time myself. I live in Bemidji and have pictures of great grey's and barred owls. I am lookging for pictures of a great horned owl if anyone has been so lucky.

I can hear them out my backyard but I never see them.

That's sure a pretty poser, Buzz.

It was a poser because it was a captive bird at Carpenter nature center last spring for the Raptor release that the U of M does twice a year. They have alot of species at these events, unfortunately mostly captive shots are available.

Well, I figured he was captive, given the setting. But that doesn't take away from the nice image. And I really like the pale great horned morphs. They are cool.
