Just wondering if anyone has any good flathead storys or odd happenings while fishing for cats

While crappie fishing last year I had a 20lb flatty hit a minnow. Took me about 15 minutes to land with 6lb test. What was interesting is when I finally got him close to the boat he caughed up 3 crappies, all around 8 or 9 inches. He was in shallow water chomping on the spawning crappies.

Last fall I caught a flat that was 32 pounds
(after I pulled a 3 pound saugeye out of his throat)

Had a racoon try to take a bite out of a 45 pound flathead. He only tried that once
