Installing Tracks on my 700 sportsmen

Fire, I just got off the phone with my local CO. The last he said was, "you may be on to something. You should be an attorney". Not sure it was a compliment!! My arguement to him was: On page 6 it states under "off road vehicles" That beginning Dec. 12, 2006, ORV's under 1500 pounds are considered Class 2 ATV's. I said an ATV with tracks is already an ORV so it now becomes a class 2 ATV and I can drive it on the right hand side of a road. He thought that this may be an arguement that may work. He is going to call St. Paul tomorrow and let me know if it gets us anywhere. At least he is working with me and not against me. Oh by the way, I saw you 3 tires a while back and wondered what they were for. Now I know. Good job.

At the price of replacement tracks, you won't catch me riding tomany roads.

I agree but I live about a 1/4 mile from a lake access so I would like to be able to get to it.
