Winter Bowfishing

Anyone bowfish in the winter for carp? If so where are some general spots? With this warmer weather there should be a lot of open water to find some carp to stick an arrow in.

I have not used bow and arrow but hook and line are good around warm water dischares... Hope this helps.

Ya know I dont think I can ever remember seeing carp in winter to arrow but ya get a lake on the verge of freeze out get by open water,and not only carp but every fish will be gulping air.Some times the DNR opens these waters to first come take any fish & all you want!
