Hi,

I live in MN and I am looking to Turkey Hunt in WI this year - 2007. I know I missed the deadline to apply for permits. I was told that there are several other options to get a NR permit. The opportunity just came about and I would like to take advantae in 2007 rather than wait. Any info is much appreciated.

I am not aware of any options for you if you missed the app deadline. Maybe hunt in the fall to get familiar with an area for spring of '08. A quick call to the WI DNR would probably be your best bet to verify if there are any other options for you. Later.
