SgtCaesarfishinguy
Just wondering if any was willing to share some shore spots, or wanted to hook up sometime when the water isn't frozen for some cats. Used to fish a good spot on the Miss on the Champlin side, but am new to the Anoka/Andover/Ramsey area of the river. Let me know

Flashman
I mostly fish the Minnesota but I'm usually looking for a fishing partner. Maybe we can hookup sometime during softwater season

Wiskers
Just be cautious of his porcupine fishing tactics.......... LMAO...... Flashman.. You let me know as soon as the water gets soft enough for flattys down there and I drag my self down... I am dying for some open water like crazy.. ------------------Wiskers Guiding ServiceRed River & Minnesota River, for Channel Cats, Flatheads & WalleyesCrookston, MN[email protected]218-280-0442[This message has been edited by Wiskers Guiding Service (edited 02-18-2004).]
simplefish
Last year was my first year getting into cats and I'm still looking for a few spots myself. I found a couple last year and did pretty well. I live in Anoka and fish the Missy around here a bit. I could share one of em with ya if your interested, or we could head out, come soft water, and find a few new ones.
EBass
Has anyone ever caught a channel cat outa the Rum River? They got to be there right? I have never caught one (nor went for them either) and haven't heard of anyone catching any. Just wondering. I can't wait to get back in the MN for dem flatties! SgtCaesarfishinguy
I have caught them there, be it shore fishing where the Rum dumps into the miss, or in a boat further upstream. I have only up to the Ramsey area in the boat, but they are there and can be caught. I no longer have access to a boat anymore, so shore fishing will be my gig for a while, and what better fish to fish for than a catfish!!!
