We are still getting cats over here.... its slowing down a bit but they are still here.. and full of [PoorWordUsage] & viniger.... The walleyes are also starting to pick up... if they can get over the rock dams..

I haven't been out for flats lately but have been chasing channels during the day time.
They are putting on the feed bag and starting to get aggressive.I have been finding them in shallow runs(1 to 4 feet).Seems the first snag at the tail or the head of a hole or the "dunes" are producing the best.Last week the bite was on cutbait with bigger fish taking frogs.
I get a little more interested in eyes as the trees get into their fall colors but I still like to chase cats up untill the water temps hit the upper 40's.

Well I think I caught the monkey! I was out all day for channels at Rapidan Dam using frogs, cut creek chub and live/cut suckers.
NOT EVEN A BITE! Nice day to be outside though. It was one of the few days I wish I had worms with.
