Heating a Otter Large Resort

I need some opinions on what to use for heating my large resort. I purchased a big buddy heater but I don't know if that will be enough heat when the temp drops below zero. I thought about taking the Big Buddy back and purchasing a double or triple burner Mr.Heater. Any thoughts? confused.gif

I use a Mr. Heater/Mr. Cooker and it rarely leaves the low setting unless it's pretty cold out and the wind is blowing some. I don't recall ever having to go to the high level unless you really like it to be a sauna. Bank some snow around the bottom (if we ever get any) and it stays nice and toasty! My jacket always comes off after firing the Mr. Cooker so it's plenty warm with that running.

There's another thread I read yesterday about using a small fan in your portable to circulate the air. Kinda like a ceiling fan in your home, this will push the warmest air back down to the level where you're sitting. It also helps with condensation. Keeping the warm air moving will mean less time and power form the heater.

I also use a Mr. Cooker and it rarely leaves the low setting. Even when it was -10* it only hit med till the ouse warm, then low to maintain the temp.

Reddumptrucks, We have a big buddy heater and it will keep up fine if there is no wind, throw a 10 mph breeze and it hesitates. Wind it the biggest problems -10 and 20mph you'll be cold!!!
