16" Genz Stix

Has anybody used the 16" Genz stix? It shows it on the HSOforum, but I cant find it in any stores. I was just curious to hear how people like it?

I haven't used one, but I would think that they would work slick for sight fishing when you are sitting right over your hole.

i have one. it works great for sight fishing. plus you can also fit it in your pocket. haha

i have 4 of them and i got them at cabelas last year

Checked them out here last year in Michigan, really believe for the few extra bucks you spend the Sweet Pea from Thorne Bros is a much better 16 inch rod. I have six of the glass rods for sight fishing, and they have worked out great.

Cabela's has them. $19.95 if I remember right.

I have a couple of them. They work well for a less than expensive rod.

But I will agree with Mason, the Sweet Pea by Thorne Bros is the best 16" ice rod you will find. Now I want the Finesse Plus as well.

Mason, do you have any experience with the Finesse Plus?
