just wondering if anyone would like to post some pics of there ice shacks, Im looking to get into one, i need a good place to buy a quality trailer from. any ideas would be helpful! Kylersk , thanks for posting all them pics, what kind of rubber roof is that, were did you get it, and how did you attach it to the house and keep the water from running behind your siding?

There arleady was one. I found it about 20 pages deep in this board. Whew!!

I got the rubber roof from Menards. Basically, lay rubber roof out. Cut to size. Fold over half. Apply adhesive, lay over adhesive and press down with broom. Repeat for other side.

I rolled the roof over the edge and then attached the top J-Channel on top of that. I then bought the rubber roof caulk and put that in the seam. If It doesnt hold up, I'll buy the rubber roof seaming kit and put that over the top. Menards has a brochure you can get and check out.

Another suggestion I got, after I built the house, was to put down that tar window stuff between the j-channel and wall. Then caulk the top.
