Four of us fished Whitewood Friday morning. One guy caught 3 medium size perch and the rest of us didn't catch a thing. There were a couple of small size vehicles that had driven out onto the ice. Where we fished the ice was 9 inches thick.

Fished Whitewood again today from 8am to 2pm. Only had 2 bites and caught 2 perch. Everyone I talked with said it was a slow day. The perch in Whitewood are just huge! You guys should try Whitewood, you probably have better luck at it than I do.

How was the ice? I spent the whole day today in that area and originally planned on going fishing but passed because I didnt think ice conditions would be worth going out on?

Where I fished the ice measured 9inches. I did see 2 vehicles drive out on the ice. Everyone else parked on shore or next to shore. I'm still not ready to drive on the ice myself.
